Coco Reef Dress Code

Hi all, i have a few questions about the coco reefs dress code, so if anyone can offer any advise i would be very grateful.
I was wondering what the dress code is for the restaurants in the hotel, particularly the Tamaras, as i understand this one has a slightly stricter code compared to the others. I don't want to pack a lot of things, so was wondering are flip flops, skirts and plain tops (no collars) considered acceptable in these restaurants? I also read about a "closed toe" preference in regard to shoes, does this apply to the ladies footwear?
Also, and this may seem like a really silly question but i have to ask, are the evenings/nights warm in June?
Many thanks,
Jo

Jolene,flip-flops(AKA slippers)are a no no in restaurants in the evening. It is basically, men full length tousers collared shirt(golf, tennis whatever),shoes and socks --not designer "trainers",ladies, modestly dressed,ie blouse/top that it is not to exposing,skirt/dress ,not to short,or trousers.Shorts are not acceptable for either sex in the evening.

Hi David, thanks again for the info
Especially thanks for the info on the flip flops. I wasn't sure about this, as i know something similar came up in a previous post regarding closed toe shoes for women. I haven't got a clue about the evening attire, but i certainly don't want to make a bad impression. Think i will have to brave the crowds and do some major searching for a few things before next wednesday!
Many thanks

Jolene, sandal type shoes are ok--its just to be different from the day wear,so you don't have to lash out for poshies!

Thanks for the info David. I see what you mean, i just don't want to be taking loads of things, i really want to travel as light as possible. Do the ladies have to wear closed toe shoes, or does this just apply to gents?
Many thanks

Jolene, remember that Tobago is more of a "laid back" destination, so if you were dining outside of the Coco Reef, there are many places you can patronise without having to dress up too much. With respect to your question about evening/nightime temperatures, they should range from the high twenties in the late afternoon/early evening (remember that it gets to the low thirties during the day) to the mid-twenties in the early morning.

Thanks for that Clyde, just thought i'd check
I think as we are staying all inclusive at the Coco, we will probably be eating there most of the time, although it would be nice to venture out from time to time. We just want to get all the things we need together, and not end up taking any unnecessary things.
Many thanks once again,
Jo

I'll be strictly scruffy and relaxed when knocking back plantain and rice and peas on my balcony at Alibabas
not long now...

Kirsten - I shall look out for Tiele and send him your love.
We're getting really excited, only a few more days to go! How was your stay at the Coco, and how did you find the dress code?
Many thanks
