Jo,
Please permit someone who has not been to Tobago yet to reply!
I found a map of Trinidad and Tobago in " Cotswold" Outdoor shop. It's published by Rough Guides(
http://www.roughguides.com) and consists of a map of Trinidad with Tobago tucked in the corner, but I think it's good enough(I suppose I'll find out when I get there!)
It has a nice picture of Pigeon Point on the cover, but as it just consists of a palm tree in front of the sea, it could be anywhere really, even Cornwall...
Good luck
Carol

Jolene, there are plenty of free maps available showing most of the major visitors destinations--restaurants bars diving etc.

Jolene, the car rental outlets at Crown Point Airport usually have maps. Just drop by one of their offices after you exit customs. There is also a visitors' information office at the airport and if it's open at the time you arrive, you can check there as well. Most hotels and guest houses should also have maps.

Many thanks for the info Clyde, sounds like we should be able to pick one up fairly easily from somewhere then. Getting excited now, only 8 days to go!
Thanks again

Hi Jolene
I brought back several of the 06/07 tourist maps, as I have given lots away over the years and I find that people find it helpful to have a map befroe they arrive to familiarise themselves with the roads, beaches and other 'attractions'. They also contain useful info. on the whereabouts of resturants, hotels and guest houses, supermarkets and tour companies etc.
If you email me at
[email protected] and let me have your address, i'll drop one in the post. I also have a version in jpeg format so could email it straight back to you if you just email me if you prefer.
Have a good one you lucky person you
Cheers
Steve

What am I thinking of - I must be jet-lagged
Here are a coupe of links to two versions of the tourist map mentioned. You should be able to increase the size of the images if you left click your mouse / touch-pad or better still, save the pics to your hard-drive.

They are not quite the same as the one's you pick up at the airport as they don't show all of the locations of the supermarkets/ resturants etc. and they don't show the L'Anse Formi to Charlotteville road, which is now complete and well worth a look-see.
We didn't see another car in either direction when we went on our exploritory journey and it really is incredible that it took so long to make the connection as most sections of the road appeared well established.
Hope this helps
Steve
