Tobago In September

Hi all,
Me and my boyfriend are hopefully coming to stay in Tobago in September. We've only just started researching it and found this excellent website forum and we're hoping we could get some pointers.
We're looking to have a fun, relaxing 14 day holiday but with some exploration and activity. We like the look of Tobago because it is not heavily touristy and crowded, but looks fantastic and unspoilt. Our budget isn't huge, so we'd like to stay somewhere beautiful but cheap (preferably near a brilliant beach). Have you got any suggestions?
We're heard about Tobago Fest. When is this on this year? Do you know where we can find out more details? If anyone has been it would be great to hear about it.
We're also read about the climate in September and we understand that it may rain for some points of our holiday. Is the rain isolated showers and not all day? Will it be sunny most of the time? Any comments about the climate appreciated!
Thank you for all your help and any other comments suggestions are welcome.
Thanks a lot,
Amy Coad
