Thanks to XL crew, 31st May 2007

It's taken me a while to get around to posting this, but I wanted to say a big thank you to the crew who flew us home on 31st May.
On 30th May, we were enjoying our last full day of Tobago and having a drink at the bar at Pigeon Point, there were a group of holiday makers next to us taking photo's, I offered to take a pic of the whole group and we started chatting. They were leaving the following day and on the same flight as us. Most of the group went off on a boat trip, leaving one of the party, Howard, behind, he stayed chatting to us and said he had done the trip a few times, so wasn't interested this time. It was our daughter, Gemma's birthday on the dat we were due to land, and hubby told Howard that he was going to ask the cabin crew to put out an announcement on the plane to say Happy Birthday to her, to which Howard replied, "I can do that, I'll be flying the plane, the rest of the guys on the boat trip are your crew"!
Howard and the guys not only offered to say happy birthday to Gemma, but to give us an upgrade to XL one if possible!
As it happened, XL one was fully booked, although we were seated further foward, but the crew still gave us complimentary champagne and drinks throughout the flight, XL one meals, free newspapers etc, basically all the perks apart from the seats! when we landed our daughters were invited up to see the flight deck, I think this was one of the highlights of younger daughter Ambers holiday (she wants to join the RAF).
Once again, if any of the crew from our flight are reading this, a big big thank you from all of us.
