Ahem!
Here are my photos.WARNING-contains pictures of my sandfly-ravaged legs!
Well, we all have our sick, dark side, don't we
I feel really chuffed with myself. I managed to create this album with no help, and without my son sighing and tutting" Don't you know ANYTHING mum?"
I hope there aren't too many repeats; one sunset looks much like another!
Oh, and Gisela and Steph- the photos of the hunky fisherman were taken by my husband. I never met the chap. Life just ain't fair sometimes
Hope it's OK; the slideshow kept freezing when I gave it a test run.

I'm back to your photopage now.....

Hi Carol
Love the pics (well, apart from your legs, nothing personal but I was just tucking into a late breakfast when they appeared). Amazingly, you have a photo of the exact spot on Mt Dillon that Janette and I were married last February. Going back in 2008 to celebrate our anniversary. Well that's the excuse we are using anyway.
I did have a problem connecting to your photo site though. You need to insert a dot in the address. So instead of
http://carolspics1myphotoalbum.com
try:
http://carolspics1.myphotoalbum.com
It worked for me. Don't ask me how I sussed that out 'cos I don't know... a mysterious flash of inspiration I guess,

Aha!
While I was labouriously composing my message Roland had got in quick with that info.
You see, you have us falling over ourselves to assist.

Tony, you must be a really laid-back guy. You needed 30 minutes to
create a post. That's what I call relaxed!

Really nice pics, Carol and you did the photo album very good. I like it very much (except of the pics of the fisherman but this is a different story)
Could figure out almost every place on your photos and - well, my own fault - getting itchy feet
Well done, Carol and congratulation on almost 70 postings
Cheers

Carol,
Great pictures and good job on getting them on line by yourself
Is picture #53 the house you stayed at in Castara?
No photos (other than your foot) of you and your family?

Hello Bill,
Everyones being very nice about my photos but I am not impressed! My husband's are better, taken with his super duper state of the art camera, and he is a better photographer than me. One fine day he will get round to sorting them out so I can show you. Just wait for the dead puffer fish on Bloody Bay!
The house you refer to is one I just liked the look of, and I can't remember where it was.

It might even have been a cafe. I'm sure someone will recognise it!
We stayed in the one at the top of the picture 113. It was up something like 85 steps

which I will remember for the rest of my life, but it was worth it for the view. We could sit on the verandah and just watch the world go by. Some of the sunset pictures were taken from there.(sigh)
Yes there are pictures of my family, but like Mr Watkins, we're a bit shy, so I left them out. We weren't too keen on displaying ourselves on the Internet, not that we've got anything to hide, you understand. I might re consider at some point, or like David, get a cardboard cut-out.
Yes I read just about everything!
Time for my night time cocoa. Good night folks
Carol

Hi Carol. Well done. feels great does,nt it!.I had the same trouble, as you might have seen from my impassioned pleas for help in the " reader photos section". The help and encouragement I got was brill. I enjoyed looking at your pics and was also hoping for a glimpse of the forum's recent and prolific authress!!! You have made me giggle a few times, in particular over the "winin" issue which had me laughing out loud. I am glad the island has captured your heart as it did mine 4 years ago.
In anticipation,
Gill

I asked my family if they wanted to go in my album,
And they said,
"No ,no,no".(Apologies to Amy Winehouse)
However, you can have a glimpse of my daft hat.
Once again, thanks for your kind words everyone. I wish I had been a bit quicker at grabbing the camera when I saw something interesing, or taken some photos of people, such as my hero, Gaston Jackson, but I didn't always
like to ask.
I suppose I could have approached some nice man and put on my very best English voice: "I say, you're a handsome chap. How about whipping off the old shirt and posing for a photo then?"
What do you reckon Gisela and Steph?
Do you think our Mr Watkins might have something to say?
I'm in a strange mood this evening. Anyone seen my pills?
Good night, sleep tight
Carol

Hmmm!
Carol, my dear. How many of those pills were you taking when you were in Tobago?
That's not a hat. It's a lampshade.
I think you need to talk to Dr Stephan about your medication.
Stay calm.

Evening Tony,
So that's why its got a hole in the top with wire around it
But you should see my husband's. I called him " our man in Havana".
I'm quite calm tonight, you'll be glad to know. You may also
like to know I work with a French lady who says " Zees girl is a crazee mare. Totally bonkairs."
Yours truly
Carol

Anyway Carol, I shouldn't worry about the lampshade. My lovely wife, Janette, bought something not too dissimilar whilst we were passing the time at Gatwick, waiting for our flight to be called. When she saw herself wearing it a few days later she said, "Why did
you let me buy something that looks so stupid?"
So it was all my fault.
Such is life.
