Demise of the rum

Demise, as in drained carefully into a glass, I trust, rather than demise as in dropped on a flagstone floor.
In other posts you're counting down the sixty days left to take-off. Add 9 hours to the next White Oak, then! I'm looking forward to my first taste; 34d 22h 38m to take-off

Sorry David,
a old adage in Frankfurt say:
Before I get excited, it doesn't make any difference to me !

David,
after a mouthful 1919 I had a good idea

how you can survive the time till you can have the next bottle of White Oak:
Fill the empty bottle with water & place it at your table.
Always you come in a situation of debility, you cross your fingers an speak very loud following words:
Away Satan
!!! I first tuch this bottle before I can get a second one !
I hope it helps !
Cheers
Peter

This is all getting very strange.
We've got some White Oak, bought from the Post Office in Parlatuvier. AND WE HAVEN'T OPENED IT YET!

Carol,
Wow, what a concept - being able to purchase liquor at the Post Office. Here in the states the way our postal system muddles along you'd swear most of the employees have been sampling

Bill,
You're probably enjoying yourself elsewhere, but I'll reply anyway.
The same thing happens over here. We have little "sub" Post Offices within shops, usually newsagents or grocers. You can buy beer and wine in my local "sub" PO.
And the man behind the counter is the most miserable, unhelpful and un -friendly so and so you could ever meet.
Cheers m'dears

PS. I must set the record straight; it was Old Oak Gold we bought, not White Oak. Can't tell one from t'other meself.
