Humidity in the "Rainy" Season

Headed to beautiful Tobago later this week and was curious about the humidity this time of year. If you look at a weather report it will say hot and very humid almost everyday but it would seem to me that if you're near the water and feeling the breeze, you won't feel much of this at all.
Thoughts?
Thanks!

Hi
I´ve been travelling to T&T since 1987, mostly to Tobago. I´m always staying in the south, Bon Accord.
If it has been raining a lot during the night you can expect 80% - 95% early in the morning.
If the day is sunny with some normally cloud, it will decrease to about 60-65%. But if the day doesn´t have much sun at all, it will most likely remain at 70-75%.
It might sound bad, but mostly you have a small breeze in the south so it´s not bad at all nearby the sea. If you are going for a walk in the forrest or in Scarborough, that´s totally different.
But humidity also affect peoples in different ways, some can´t stand humid air, some doesn´t have much problem at all. It´s also different if the vacation is short or long. We (mostly of us) adapt after some time.

Hi chaps
The humidity effect really depends where you come from and the weather environment that you are used to.
It is quite a tough thing to deal with if you are coming from a cold winter to Tobago from the UK, for example.
But the humidity varies in Tobago and it does not necessarily mean it has been raining or is going to rain.
I recall arriving one year and finding it incredibly oppressive ... this was in January and I was coming from a cold UK winter and it took me days to get used to it.
Other years I have settled in nicely.
So ... humidity is one thing ... how you deal with it also depends what environment you are coming from.
Hope this helps.
Regards

True, it´s a big different to go from cold and dry air in Europe to Tobago, and sometimes it´s the same when going back.
I always stay 4-6 weeks sometimes during June - September and when I come back to the Swedish dry summer air with temp around 22-25C (71-77F), than I´m really feeling cold!
