Secure baggage storage at Crown Point?

Hi everyone,
Just one question - does Crown Point Airport have a facility for storing suitcases securely for a few hours before check-in opens for departing flights?
I am staying in Castara between 9-24th March, and flying out with BA to Gatwick around 1900 hours, but thought that it would be a good idea to get a transfer back to the Crown Point area at daybreak and spend the day there before leaving.
Obviously it would be very useful to have somewhere safe to store our luggage during this time - does anyone know if the airport provides this service, or if there is a good alternative?
Thanks,
Chris

Hi Chris
Sadly, No - at least not as far as I know. I don't believe there are any such facilities - but hopefully somebody can prove me wrong.

Chris, why leave Castara at day break, especially for Crown Point?
Leave as late as you can!

Thanks, it sounds easiest just to take David's advice. I am just booking up my transfers - I guess that I should leave Castara around 3pm to check in for a 1900 flight????
David - does Castara really eclipse the other end of the island so greatly?
Cheers
Chris

they say you are supposed to check in three (!!!) hours before the flight... but not everyone does... so leaving 3 p.m. would be safe. just check with your landlord if yu can stay that long. many places make you move out 11 a.m.
also if you still want to/have to go early and have your luggage stored, I heard that one of the car rentals (I think right next door of the arrivals) took luggage for a little fee... can someone confirm who used this service? maybe you can call the tourist office at the airport (or check them while on the island) to find out about it
have a great time and maybe we even meet in castara

From a Castara first timer, we go next Jan for a week on the 19th, I can speak with a little authority? on the Store bay end.
We have regularly stayed at Jimmy's and check our luggage in at about 12:00 midday and then walk back to Jimmy's/ Prof's bar and chill until about 16:30 when we walk back to the airport and then go straight to departure.
This may help Store Bay / Crown Pointers

I'm with David on this one. Hang out in Castara for as long as you can. Have a last swim and take a goodbye stroll through the village. Don't panic.
So, when do you fly out David? Is it the 29 November?

And have one of Vera's rotis for lunch!
Well, that's what we have always done on the last day in Castara.
