The Cocoreef is a true jewel in Tobago and definitely the place to stay. True to the reports I read before going, service is the most outstanding feature of this beautiful hotel. Very caring and professional. I was touched by the leaf messages on my bed, a different one every day.
Good hearty breakfast with birds singing all around, bacon always soggy but nothing is perfect.
I particularly enjoyed Tamara´s during my birthday dinner: personalised menu, the best table of the house, balloons and all, plus countless smiles and flawless service. Great setting for the superb food that followed. Tamara´s is one of the top 2 restaurants in the island. The other is La Tartaruga.
I would definitely stay back at the cocoreef, no wonder there are so many repeats year after year. I loved the welcoming warmth of being there.
