Hello Steve,
On a few occasions since you upgraded the site I have had the following experience. Whilst browsing for info and even more often when using the forum site I have had the Web page expired page come up. sometimes I have been able to go back a page but three times I have had to come right out and enter the site again.I lost a post which I had been typing for ages! I learned from that to use the save button but still I thought you should know.Maybe it`s a teething prob you can correct?
Thanks for being our Big Brother =D>

Hi Gill

Thanks for reporting that. Apparently it is a known bug when the user is using Internet Explorer v6. Hopefully they will find a fix for it.

In the meantime, its best to use the standard practise for filing longer posts. Rather than typing directly in into the forum post form, it is far better to type your report in a word processor. Apart from that regularly auto-saving (in programs like Word), you have the added advantage of being able to use the spelling/grammar checker. Then, when you are finished, you can simply copy and paste your entry into the forum form.

Hello Steve,
I have been finding that I am getting the "connection timed out" message quite frequently, when trying to get on the site or forum, saying that the server is unavailable or too busy, though I get through eventually. Is this this the same problem that Gill reports?
Sorry if I've duplicated Gill's query!
Thanks
Carol

Hi Carol

We've in the 'tweaking' phase after moving the forum to a new server network. There have been several short disruptions over the past few days. My apologies. Let me know if you continue to get the same problems after the end of this week, please.
