I was going to ask Steve about the significance of the topic icons, those round ones to the left, but I decided I'd do some research and find out.

I understand that red indicates that there are unread topics, a star means that you have posted in that topic, and the lines scroll upwards if it is a "popular" topic (according to some criterion of popularity set by the Chief Anorak, who will no doubt set me straight if I have got it wrong).

Hi Jonathan

Spot on! The scrolling 'popular' icon is switched on if a post has had at least 15 replies.
