Anyone have any comments about the standard of en-suite facilites in Coco Reef? Am thinking about booking up, but had an issue in the past when staying in the Caribbean where the room was nice but the ensuite was "tired" to say the least. Also, is there any sort of mobile telephone network on the island? Cheers,

Sorry, I haven’t got any photos of the bathroom in our room at the Coco Reef. However, we have always been delighted with our rooms and ensuite facilities. Lots of hot water (although it can get short in the late afternoon when the hotel is fully booked and everyone is getting ready for dinner). Lots of nice fluffy towels. Hairdryer. All the usual potions and lotions. Full size bath and big-headed tropical shower. No, based upon my experiences, there is absolutely no issue here. I know exactly what you mean though – have experienced it many times, but not at the CCR.
Yes, they do have a local mobile circuit, but no roaming facility with the UK or Europe. I assume you’re UK-based, given your usage of the word “mobile”. I don’t know about arrangements with North American cellphones. You might care to look at the Communications section of the main myTobago Information pages for further info on communications.
Go ahead, do it! Then come back and tell us how you liked it – do that anyway, regardless of where you stay.

We've just returned from coco reef - we absolutely loved it. However I must say that although the en-suite is okay it's not great! Depends on your standards... if you want glorious all singing,marble everywhere, it's not like that. Certainly ours needed a little updating.But .. the shower was efficient and always hot. Great potions and soap and.. always clean and flowers a nice touch. This was the ONLY thing that we wouldn't give them 5 stars for. So what I'm saying is that this is a great hotel. Cas
