New harder security roles at airports fpr departing passengers.

I´ve seen on the internet that there are new harder security roles at the airport for departure flights from England, a new harder type of security. For some time only 1 piece has been allowed, but from Monday, January 7, you can bring 2 pieces. But not from all airports and all airflights of course, that would be too easy!

Acording to what I´d read Heatrow and Standstead follow the new harder security roles and one can bring 2 pieces carry-on-luggage. But some Airlines will still follow the old role and only accept 1 peace of carry-on-lugage per person. But regarding liquid, no change there.

May I guess that there will be some irritation sometimes at the airports, when different airflight companies has different rules?

Hi Phil

Yeah, I checked the Gatwick webpage and also Virgin Atlantic and it does appear that it is only one item of hand luggage if you are flying out of Gatwick.

Leaving on 10th Jan for three weeks in Castara. Maybe see you there.
