The Sandy Point Beach Club was quaint, clean, very conveniently located and offered a definite sense of security/safety. Quinton, (facilities mngr.) was extremely helpful, considerate & fun. The overall helpfulness/courtesy of staff was great up until about day 5, when they became a bit unorganized, confused and developed a lackadaisical attitude. But we dismissed it as "typical island personality" and had a wonderful time anyway. We were disappointed with the nightly resort sponsored "entertainment", but again that's not why we were there. The resort provided adequate accomodations, which actually exceeded our expectations for 4 adults in a studio unit. The kitchen was very well equipped with every necessity for any type of meal, which we did take advantage of. Our time-share exchange visit delivered our expectations of a no-frills, relaxing island experience. We got what we wanted - an inexpensive, slow-paced, fun-in-the-sun on uncrowded beaches, winter get-away. Pigeon Point was by far the most beautiful beach. Irvine Bay was great for snorkeling, surfing & coral/conch shell collecting. We have visited many carribean islands over the past 20 years & have to agree that Tobago is beautifully unspoiled and among the friendliest!
