myTobago – your questions, review and comment about Tobago

Hello everybody,

I'm Alberto an italian traveller carring out dreams during my life. One of them is to go to Tobago and stay there for a while, and at the same time to improve my english in the Eden, as Columbus said in his Diary.

my questions:

1) Do you know if is possible to rent a small, very small and unfurnished, doesn't matter dirty or old, apartament in Tobago (Scarborough for ex.) , for less than 2000 TT Dollars per month? (In PoS and Arima it's possible for 1300/1500 TTD, one dormitory).

2) Do you know if there is a School of Languages (to learn english), in Tobago, (I know only about a too much expensive one, called Voyages Uniiversite'), or if it's easy to find an english teacher for a reasonable price?

There is a large ex-pat community in Tobago, I'm sure if you ask around in the local bars you will find someone able to teach you English, I'll be there in may for two weeks and can provide lessons in exchange for rum.
