Having just returned from a second visit to Coco Reef, I would just like to give some general feed-back for those considering this resort. We had a superb holiday and would return for a third visit without hesitation. Food, accomadation and staff were excellent. The resort was fairly busy, but there were plenty of staff to cope and so no long waiting for service etc. We enjoyed the restaurant meals, especially as the courses were served hot which is so important to me (unless I've ordered ice-cream of course!). Lunches were also very good. We ate out a couple of times at restaurants within easy walking distance of the hotel. Dillons and Latitude 11 are both recommended if you enjoy the occasional change of scenery. Typical prices of a meal for two with wine was 50-60 pounds sterling. Obviously this depends on your choices but is a rough guide if you're considering eating out. Also Latitude 11 is cash-only as they have no credit-card facility. We didn't do too may trips this time around and so other reviews are much more informative for trips out etc. However, it is so good to go out and about into local souvenir shops etc and have a pleasant chat instead of being pestered into purchasing something like so many other places in the world. The people are really friendly and laid-back. So, after a second visit, I can still recommend Coco Reef as an excellent choice of resort.
