What a ball ! Do go to this event every Sunday in Buccoco. Visitors-have been told not to say tourists -are encouraged to arrive quite early which is a real mistake unless you are into steel bands in a big way. The locals arrive from 10pm and keep on coming, then the party really begins. We met so many friendly people and literally did have a ball. The street markets are quite open to haggling in fact that is half the fun before you know it you have attracted a group of locals all happy to talk and share their experiences. Louis waxed lyrical about Basingstoke, yes, you did read that correctly,Reuben adored London, Sharon had returned home after two years nursing in Birmingham,I could go on but even I am not that boring. The food is good but expensive much better to eat and then use the little shack just before the road goes uphill for your beer - the bottle opener is on the wall. Then party people.
