Hi all,
Sorry to say the we did not holiday in Tobago this year, but we did take our caps with us, look at the photo Linda took of me with mine on.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/26275143@N08/2458799569
The picture was taken at a depth of 8m on Ali Giri, Meemu Atoll, Maldives. I can also assure readers that the caps are colourfast to 22m!
I'm sure you've all got pictures of you in caps in places other than Tobago, so what is the prize in the competiton then Steve...........?
Kevin. :D
p.s. No I do not the picture as my avatar thanks Steve!

Why not Kevin? Might start a new trend. And how did you stop the cap from coming off and floating away?

Nice one, Kevin

Hope you had a great holiday - even if it wasn't on Tobago.

Hmmm! We'll have to think of a nice prize for whoever can come up with pictures of a myTobago cap (worn) in the whackiest situation. All (realistic) suggestions welcome.

I have to say, I think that would have made a brilliant avatar. Spoil sport!

Hi, Carol(noe) & Steve,
Go on then put as my avatar!
As for how to keep the cap on, if I told you that you'd all be doing it.
Kevin.

There you go then.

As for how you keep the cap on - well, I assumed it was a good old dollop of superglue.

   That would be one way alright . . . . A couple of 6 inch nails would also work well #-o

Maybe they could be advertised as "Shrink to Fit . . . . . One size fit's all !"

Perhaps that's why we can't see the top of the cap, Gary - he didn't want us to see the nail heads.

As regards to my superglue suggestion, may I please respond to the reader who emailed asking if I was suggesting that Kevin had put hairpiece adhesive on the wrong side. No, not as far as I know, but strangers things have been done by myTobago readers :?

I like the way this thread is going....
Steve, I'm intrigued as to why someone would e mail you about the adhesive rather than be brave and put it on the forum?

I can assure all readers that the cap was attached and stayed on without the aid of nails, superglue, hairpiece adhesive (Steve were you emailing yourself????) or a safety net. I just used the high quality adjustable velco strap to ensure the cap stayed on.............or was it the mermaid you can't see in the photo holding it on with her tail?????????

Shush Carol, or Steve P will have her on the end of his rod in no time.

Kev - no, glad to say I move with the times. Transplants avoid all the mess. I've never looked back. #-o

Hi Steve,
Sorry didn't answer yesterday, have one of the pups staying and he removed the broadband connection from socket, took till today in my jetlagged state to realise why I couldn't get email or myTobago!
I did not for one moment dream your hair was anything but real, my comment was concerning.

Hi Kev

You've spoiled the image now. I could have avoided declaring my secret.

This thread is shaping up nicely!
Steve, don't be ashamed of the transplant; if it's good enough for Elton John, it's good enough for you.

Kevin, good luck with the mermaid project. I am happy to be a sponsor but I can't afford any large donations. I can, however, help with publicity... 8)
Cheers
Noe
PS. I'd love to see that avatar on the Waffle thread one day

God! The thought of being compared to Elton John (with or without his money) is more than I can bear. So, perhaps I should clarify: it wasn't a hair transplant - it was a beard transplant. Elton hasn't got a hairy mush, has he?

Don't worry Chief,
As far as I know, Elton has never been seen with a hairy mush.
I must tell you how pleased I am to see the word "mush", which I think is falling into dis-use. My dad used it, and I think he got it from Tony Hancock.
I am not, I hasten to add, implying that you are the same generation as my dad, who would have been eighty this year.
For the benefit of Gisela, Bill et al, "mush" means face!

A bit like Fizzog or Mooey! (Same thing for those of you who don't speak Lisa-language... yet!).
