We thoroughly enjoyed our week stay at Lillibets. The views from the balcony (upper floor) were superb, and although the bacony is shared with one other flat, Liz has ensured there is privacy for those who wish with a curtain between the two (each flat has it's own separate entrance, but it would be an ideal situation for two couples holidaying together or families). Close to all the amenities of Castara, the apartment had everything we could want and was spotlessly clean. The bird life is wonderful, the snorkelling is great too; there are rays close in to the shore, beautiful parrot fish, spotted eels, and colourful corals. The beach is just below the apartments. There are plenty of restaurants and takeaways around, and some small shops selling tinned stuff, fruit and veg if you really want to cook for yourself. We were worried about reports we read mentioning noise of music late into the night and dogs and cockerels in the morning, however we had no such problems. The live music in the cafe on the beach was great, it was only once a week and was finished by midnight. Yes there are dogs and hens around in Castara, but we didn't find the noise annoying or intrusive. It is a bit of a climb up the steps to the apartments, but well worth it for the view. Anyway - it keeps you fit and you'll find you\'re romping up there by the end of the week! Tom, Liz and Bruce were the perfect hosts - nothing too much trouble and always ready to help if required. We would stay again and would happily recommend it to others.
