hi everyone, been reading the web site and what great info! my wife and i are off to tropikist in october for 14 nights, i have to say i am a little disturbed about the increasing crime on the island. we have never visited before , but are really looking forward to tobago in general. one small question-- is it acceptable to tip service staff at hotels etc?, and if so how much, as obviousley this requires carrying small amounts of tipping cash around with you. any replies would be much appreciated, thanks and ttfn

Yes, it's perfectly acceptable to tip! If you get good service anywhere, it's always nice to show that it's appreciated!
