For anyone who wants or needs the complete antidote to a hectic lifestyle - visit Hibiscus Heights. We had a fantastic time and the property was even better than dipicted on the website. We stayed in Warm Breezes, which certainly lives up to it's name. Beautiful sea views from the veranda which wraps around three sides of the property. Shuttered bedrooms with fantastic sea views to the master bedroom, a great pool for relaxing and cooling down..perfect.
We were extremely lazy and Peggy the housekeeper made our holiday even more relaxing - a whole week without having to wash pots or make up the beds!! Thank you Peggy.
We recommend the Harlequin at Pleasant Prospect - sit on the balcony at the property with a glass of wine, wait for the tree lights at the Harlequin to be lit and then wonder down the hill for supper. We had one of the best meals of the holiday, at the best price. The ambiance and friendliness of the staff made it even more enjoyable.
Grafton Beach (Stonehaven) is a lovely beach, but the sea is rougher here. Great if you enjoy larger waves. An evening walk along the beach is beautiful, especially if you can catch the sunset.
Don't miss a visit to Arnos Vale. The sea is as clear as a mountain spring, the fish are beautiful. Park in the hotel car park. You can hire snorkels for the day and you don't have to swim out far to see some great fish. Excellent for kids. We had a great morning, made even more special by one of the locals providing us with fresh mangos!
Warm Breezes is perfect - our kids were (admittedly) happy to watch the disney channel when they needed to cool down! We enjoyed listening to some of the CDs on offer in the evening.
The only problem with the holiday, is that we had to come back home!! We only hope we find our way back to Hisbiscus Heights in the future. Thanks for a great memorable holiday.
