Christine and I visited Tobago between 16 and 23 May 2003 and managed to eat at as many different places as possible:

Fortune Chinese Restaurant, Bonn Accord
Went here by accident to get a take-away meal for Christine while I went to a masonic meeting. Nice ingredients that were absolutely ruined by the awfule cooking. Rock hard prawns. Avoid this place.

Jemmas Treehouse, Speyside
This was one of the highlights of the trip. We went for lunch on Sunday and both had lobster. Mine was the Mother of All Lobsters, it was huge. The gave Christine two to make up for the fact that hers were only "Extra Large" by European standards. It took a while and it was a hard hat area for a time, but we finished them. Other meals that we saw looked excellent. Excellent food, lovely setting, Highly recommended.

Hilton Hotel
Another accidental visit. We wanted to go to the Golf Club for dinner but it was shut (at 7:30pm; Sorry Steve, unable to review this one). Seriously unimpressed. Poor quality and overpriced.

Cocrico Inn, Plymouth
Visited here for lunch. Tasty local food, freshly cooked. Excellent value and very cheap.

Cafe Iguana, Store Bay Local Road
Reasonable food at reasonable prices. Visited for dinner. Slightly disappointed because previous forum comments had led me to expect more.

Blue Crab, Scarborough
Visited for lunch. Pretty good local cuisine at reasonable prices. Choice of open air or air conditioned. Given the heat of the day we opted for the latter.

Panache, Pigeon Point Road
Excellent food, friendly helpful staff, good prices. Highly Recommended.

Cascreole, Castara
Brilliant. We visited for lunch and it was lovely in the Treetop restaurant. They also have an interesting bar! Well cooked local food (we hit the lobster again - not as large as Jemma's) at good prices. Highly recommended.

Kariwak Village Restaurant, Store Bay Road
A lovely setting but they cram the tables in a bit. Some aircraft noise. reasonable food but menu limited and overpriced.
