This is the 3rd time I have stayed here (last time was during the sailing regatta)and what a great time was had by all. Firstly the staff are fantastic they go out of their way to help (where to shop, getting taxi, where to eat). On all occassions we have been able to keep our rooms right upto departure. Rooms are cleaned every day and sheets and towels changed each day(you can get beech towels from reception). Rooms come fully equiped with everything from a bottle opener to an oven. Location is perfect, just yards from the beech (have to go down steps). You can get a bed and brolly on the beach for about £2.50 (we hired ours from Dimples, he had them all ready in place for us each day. Also while at the beech there are changing rooms, toilets and places to get something to eat and drink (we take our own to the beech). Their are sellers (selling tours) on the beech but they do hassle you once you have said no or you have already booked a tour they leave you alone. We found Island Tours good (Dexter is your man). If the beech is not the place for you the hotel has a fantasic swimming pool. The menu at the hotel is limited but the food is good, there are a number of places to eat within walking distance (15 minutes max). There are some smaller supermarkets close by, but we get a taxi to the large one (Pennysavers) and stock up on everything (taxi driver will return to collect you). The hotel is very close to the airport, approximately 5 minutes walk or a taxi for £3.50. Once at the hotel you can hardly hear any planes (there are so few). Hope this helps who ever reads it, I am sure you will have a fab time. We are returning again in September.
