We chose to go to Tobago at a busy time of year so there were not many options and Sandcastles was not our first choice as I would have preferred to have been closer to the beach, but nevertheless it had really good reviews and the price certainly indicated it would be good. I feel it was overpriced, you can definitely get better deals in Castara and far better deals elsewhere on the island. The rooms were not cleaned everyday which they were supposed to be. No soap and buy your own loo roll - well for $80 a night I would have thought that would be included. Also it is sold as self catering but really the kitchen was so ill equipped it was more like self catering as long as you want to have bananas and beer for dinner. It did have a lovely balcony and view, and is away from the noise of the village as long as you don't mind walking up a VERY steep hill. My final word is ... overpriced.
