myTobago – your questions, review and comment about Tobago

My husband and I made our first visit to Tobago in April 2008. We stayed at The Blue Haven Hotel for 7 nights fully inclusive. The hotel had received mixed reviews on other travel sites so we were a little hesitant of our choice. We need not have worried, from the moment we arrived we were warmly welcomed and the staff were great for the whole week. The Hotel was fabulous.The bedroom was light and airy with a really comfortable bed. The balcony provided wonderful views over the ocean. The location was dreamy- a fantastic treasure island beach with a wonderful beach bar that provided us with excellent lunches. The pool area was really well thought out with plenty of luxurious sun beds/ sofas and large cusions to loung on. There was sun and plenty of shade available. There was also a large patio area to have cocktails or afternoon tea on, again with really nice comfortable furniture. The restaurant for breakfast and dinner is high up so you have fantastic sea views. The food was plentiful and delicious. Nothing was too much trouble. We would unreservedly recommend this hotel if you want a completely relaxing holiday. We will certainly be going back. The manager of this hotel is the key as he has the enthusiasm and passion to ensure his guests are well looked after.It really is Blue Heaven.
