My husband and I enjoyed Cuffie River and the gracious hospitality of Regina Dumas Sanchez so much that we extended our stay. The sheer accomplishment of the construction merits considerable praise; the design and decorations were simple and elegant. We found the accommodations clean, comfortable, and spacious. The food was delicious and plenteous. We took a nature hike with a guide and were delighted at all he was able to point out to us in a short distance from the hotel in the way of extraordinary variety of birds and plants. The swimming pool is a luxurious addition. The vibrancy of the rainforest and the heartfelt passion Ms. Sanchez demonstrates for it were restorative to our bodies and souls. While Cuffie River is not for the miserly, we certainly felt the experience was worth every dollar we expended.
