Our family is extremely blessed with many travels under our belt. July 5-13, 2008 we added Tobago to our list of visited places. Upon arival, we were greeted at the Airport by our hostest (the world's greatest hostest I must add). Judy Gemmet at Bijou Des Caraibes had answered many questions prior to our arrival. Judy assisted us with our arrival to her home and made us feel welcome immediately. On the way from the airport, she stopped at the market to allow us to pickup items we might need for the next morning.

Our informative tour of the grounds was given and no questions were left unanswered! Max is the guard dog. He was great! His presence offered an added sense of security. while at Bijou Des Caraibes, I felt 100% safe and cared for. I felt as if I had landed in paradise and had a home away from home and a family away from family. Being from ATL, GA we were unsure of what to expect. However, whatever we would have planned for could have not been as great as what we had in store. Judy's 2 sons made us feel so welcome. Thanks Yann for being so thoughtful and fun! I really enjoyed the personal attention, suggestions and great service!

Tobago is what the Southernmost Carribean Island should be.
Beautiful beaches, happy people, laughing children, great waterfalls, unbelievable birds, magnificicient rain forrest and quality family vacation. My husband, myself, daughter (16) and son (9) all enjoyed our trip so very much. We have beautiful photos, quality memories and new friends! We were thrilled to get a non stop flight from ATL. There is talk that will not remain. I only hope it does.

We visited with local children and people. We learned of their culture. The folks of Tobago were so caring. Our tour guide at the rain forrest was wonderful!!!! She was a grandmother and treated my children so great...(I hope she reads this). We had several picnics during the week that will be hard to top! We enjoyed too many beaches to list. We rode Wave Runners, Banana Boats and Glass Bottom Boats. Everything was reasonable priced.

Overall I rate Tobago a great family destination. I would be happy to answer any questions. I left wondering what to expect and returned hoping to go back!!! What a Blessing to see this part of the World. The Lord made a beautiful Island when he made Tobago!!! Enjoy this Island and you will find plenty to explore. We explored daily for 7 days. I could have hiked and explored for another week and not been bored. I love nature and Tobago is full of beauty!

THANKS to Judy, Yann and Eurie!!!! We looked forward to staying in contact. You are wonderful hosts. I learned a new meaning to opening up your home. You are truely wonderful people and we are thankful for the care that you took of us!!
