Hi All.

My Partner and I are in Tobago for the first 2 weeks in October and would like to know what we can expect from the Weather?

Also......

What kind of clothes and essentials (used to be in the Army, however wont be wearing my Cammo Shorts!!!) should we bring with us from England and what can be bought there???

Thanks

Tracey & Adam

Hi Tracey and Adam

It is the wet season in early October but that does not necessarily mean it will be wet ... just keep an eye on the Liquid Sunshine nearer the time.

Not sure about clothes ... if you are staying in a resort then you may need to take some smart casuals for evening wear ... but I always dress like a tramp ... it always make sense to dress practically, take tops with collars and long sleeves for protection from the sun and nasty, hideous, microscopic, tiny things with sharp teeth in the evenings. Trousers too. Especially for Rainforest trips.

I have found clothes a little expensive in Tobago but you can buy some lovely wraps/sarongs from beach stalls and some are prepared to do a deal.

Otherwise it's the bikini and vegetable oil on the beach
