myTobago – your questions, review and comment about Tobago

Hello all,

We're now 9 weeks away from our first visit to Tobago, arriving 2nd November and staying at Coco Reef. We're both very excited.

We want a car for a couple of days, maybe more and were wondering if we need to book in advance. We're aware that the weather early November might not be the best and want to organise the car rental for the nicer days. Can we just phone Sheppy/whoever and get a car when we want one or are we crazy to consider it?

We'd want a manual if that makes any difference.

Should be no problem. You're not going at the peak of the season, so the rental agencies should have lots of vehicles available at short notice.

Now all we need is some TT$ to tide us over until we find an ATM and we're all set.

There is two ATM's directly outside the Arrivals Hall - see menu: Odds & Sods > Money Matters > Cash Machines.
