June 2003 Visit To Sandy Point Beach Club

My family and I have just returned from a week long stay in Tobago. We are RCI timeshare owners who traded for a week at Sandy Point Beach Club. Overall, we were very happy with Sandy Point. The rooms were terrific, the staff (especially housekeeping) were polite, thoughtful, friendly, and efficient. Sandy Point seems to attract many families and my kids made friends with those of another family quickly which made our stay all the more comfortable.
Weight room, hot tubs, pool, outside bar, restaurant, on site dive shop, excursions, internet access - Sandy Point has all the amenities you could ask for and I think we used them all.
I won't say that our Sandy Point was perfect, but I've never stayed anywhere that was perfect. Sandy Point is fairly low key even compared to other local hotel/restaurants. I prefer low key places, so Sandy Point suited me nicely.
I recommend Frontier Divers whcih is on site at Sandy Point. They go out of their way to make sure your dive experience is as good as you can get. Again, the emphasis is on fun - Frontier Divers are not pretentious.
