Kids TV viewing on Virgin flights

Hi,

I'm travelling to the island March 09 flying with Virgin of which my wife and I have two questions that need answering:

1) Does each seat have it's own TV ?

2) Is there a kids channel ?

We have a 3 year old son of which we're thinking of buying him a portable DVD player for xmas so he can watch his DVD's on during the flight, however, if the answer to above is yes then no need for us waste our money.

Many thanks

Matt

Hi Matt

Yes and Yes.

But watch they don't flick over to any adult content (i.e.; violence / bad language).

Regards

Most airlines provide the ability to lock certain seats to certain channels

Hi Matt,

I returned from Tobago last week and used Virgin both ways. There were children's channels and a couple of animated movies, as I recall, although I didn't pay a lot of attention to be honest. I also remember reading in the seat-back magazine that channels can be blocked on request to the flight crew. Probably not necessary as I imagine you would be closely supervising a 3y.o., anyway.

Have a great time. I did!

Ian

Many thanks Ian.

Only 154 days until we fly, not that I'm counting.
