We visited Bananaquit as a group of 5 and were fairly comfortable in the 2 bedroom suite with pull out sofa. The large external deck was a nice amenity, along with the self service kitchenette. However, the washroom and kitchen areas could have been a bit cleaner to receive guests and this was a bit disappointing to us on first arrival.
The hostess/owner was very unobtrusive which suit us just fine. Access to the small pool is through a neighboring hotel/guest house, however, I don't think many people go to Tobago for the pools. Altogether, Bananaquit is conveniently located, fairly priced and comfortable.
