Fishing trips / what to do with the fish?

This is not meant to be a silly question, I have never done this sort of thing before. The normal extent of my fishing is from dry land, spinning for Mackerell.

So, if I go on a fishing trip and I catch something (it's got to happen one day! ), who owns the fish, me or the boat owner?
Or what generally happens to the fish? Are they sold to restaurants or taken back home for diner? :?:
This would be fine for the smaller fish, but what about the bigger ones?

Hello Dave,

You can negotiate what you want to do with any fish caught when you book your trip. If you are staying in a place with cooking facilities you will want to keep some fish. Some captains are connected to restaurants and guest houses and could arrange to prepare some of your catch for you. If you don't want to keep any be assured that none will go to waste.

Enjoy, Hugh 8)

PS. I wish I had your problem.
