Flood of November 18

Hello,
We'll be traveling to Tobago for the first time on December 27. I recently heard about the flood on November 18, but all I can find out about is damage on Trinidad. Was there any damage on Tobago? Any problems with roads? (this may cross over into another group - sorry). Anyway, I hope everything is OK, and I'd love to receive a response.
Thanks very much,
Susan PL

Hi Susan
Welcome aboard!
Just to confirm Carole's reply, there's been no serious flooding issues in Tobago. To be honest, I haven't even heard of any on Tobago. You mention Trinidad, so I guess it was something over there.

Hi
It was for sure "some flooding" in Trinidad, the central area from east to west was flooded and there were many landslides in the hilly areas too, some deadly.
But in Tobago has only had some smaller landslides because of the heavvy rain, and rough seas sometimes look as a bull dozer has moved the sand on the beaches some where else.

Yes there was very heavy rain on 18th November.
I checked for feedback on the Liquid Sunshine Feedback ... click here to see

Tobago got off lightly.

Great, Paul. Thanks very much for that. It does appear that Trinidad really got the brunt of it, and Tobago fared well. Can't wait to be there
