myTobago – your questions, review and comment about Tobago

Hi all,
My partner and I are going to Tobago in a couple days and are considering bringing our inflatable sea kayak. We don't want to lug it around if we won't be able to use it, but we'd really like to circumvent the touristy kayak and snorkeling tours. Are many places restricted to the group tour scene? Can we kayak around in the bird sanctuary solo?

You can kayak wherever you want ... just get a feel for the sea, it is choppy in some areas.

Not sure about the bird sanctuary though.
