My boyfriend and I stayed at Birdie's Nest for 4 nights and enjoyed our time there. The location is great though you really need a car to get there; it's at the bottom of a steep hill. Prince, the owner, was very helpful with everything and was the most gracious host. He actually offered to upgrade our accommodation to the larger aparment on the top floor but we declined because there was no A/C in the living room. The room we took downstairs was very nice; we had no complaints. Everything was in working order and very clean. I do have to stress that though this place is right on the beach, the water there is quite rough, not really good for swimming. The nearest restaurant is a 15 minute walk without a car. Overall, we recommend this very comfortable apartment house for the price and the superior ocean views. If peace and quiet is what you desire, this location is great.
