As a family of 4 looking for a real authentic Tobago experience, Avocado Cottage with our gracious hosts, Tony & Michelle was just perfect. The 15 minute walk to Mt Irvine Beach through the golf course was convenient and better still a round of golf with Tony was great. Finally the central location was excellent.
What made our Christmas holiday special was the opportunity to share many family breakfasts, lunches & dinners on the porch with a million dollar view. Some might want a beach side cottage, but we found that the constant breeze and every changing view of the Caribbean more than compensated.
Avocado Cottage is a cottage, not a resort. Tony's welcome dinner and provision of essential supplies were a pleasant surprise and well appreciated when we arrived late in the day. The accommodation is modest but very clean and functional. It worked for us!
