Sorry if this is a silly question, but do we need to bring purification tablets to wash salad vegetables etc., or is the tap water clean enough?
3 days to go, hope the rain stops soon!

Hi Avril,

The water is fine to wash things in and to clean your teeth, etc. I wouldn't drink it as a drink in itself, however. I tend to boil the water and then refridgerate it for drinking. It's not Evian, but it'll do!!

The weather's not too bad today. I think we had a short shower earlier, but it wasn't enough to stop anyone doing anything - you'll be fine, I'm sure!

Lisa.

Thanks Lisa, that's another thing off my list.
You're right, rain or no rain I'm sure it is going to be fabulous!

Hi

I´d write my comments about the water at your other post, read that too.

Generally speaking, if you can drink the water without problems, as mostly visitors can, it all depends on what type of water your body is custom with at home and how you use to do when travelling.

I don´t get sick of the water in T&T, I don´t boil the water eighter, but I know that some peoples from both US and Europe sometimes can have problems. NO ONE can say "it´s OK to drink as it is, you don´t get sick", it´s different from person to person.
