checking luggage near airport?

Greetings All. Is there anywhere near the airport where luggauge can be checked or stored for several hours? We will be arriving at the airport late in the afternoon on a Sunday via taxi from Charlotteville. We would like to spend a few hours at the Buccoo Sunday School before returning to Trinidad on a 9:20 p.m. flight. I have checked and there are no lockers at the airport nor can we check our bags early with Caribbean Airlines. The operator at the airport information desk told me that the Lady in Red Car Rental would store luggage. Has anyone stored luggage there? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Kathi B

Hi Kathi,
Sunday School doesn't even begin to get going before c.9pm, and you'll need to be at the airport an hour (officially 1.5 hrs at the moment, I believe!) before your flight. I don't think any of the stalls will be there at the time you're looking at. To the best of my knowledge, there's not much happening at all until - pretty much - your departure time, at best! Sorry!!
Lisa.

Hi Kathi
As regards storing bags with Lady In Red, I can only say that I struggle to think of anywhere on Tobago that I would feel less happy about leaving my bags. Just use the search facility to search for the name and you will see why and, believe you me, what is published here is just a fraction of what I hear on a regular basis.
Sorry, but there are no lockers and nowhere with left luggage facilities (come on, some enterprising Tobago business owner).

Hi Lisa and Steve. Thank you for your prompt and helpful respsonses. I guess we'll just kick back at the Kariwak Village bar & restaurant until we have to check in for our flight! Kathi
