We stayed in "The executive suite" at King Solomon's Mine Hotel for several days in February 2009 and were pleasantly surprised. Owner Leroy Solomon was an excellent host. The apartment was a complete, private, self contained, self catering, second floor unit with a very large, covered, outdoor balcony/patio overlooking the surrounding neighborhood, with sea views. The hotel is located about two hundred yards from the sea, although there is no beach close by, we really enjoyed the sounds of the surf and breezes that came into our apartment. This is not a high end accommodation, but it was quite adequate for our needs and very comfortable. We were pleased with the accommodation and felt that we had received very good value for our money. We would definitely return to this hotel if we were in Tobago again.
