My wife and I are staying in Tobago for two weeks in January 2010 and then want to go to Grenada for a few more weeks,
Can anyone tell us the best and cheapest way to get to Grenada ?
Is Liat the only airline that goes there ?
Regards

Geoff,
yes, you will have to take LIAT from Piarco / Trinidad. The air bridge (Caribbean Airlines) between Trinidad
and Tobago is usually very reliable.
LIAT is better than their reputation (you may have heard of "LIAT = Leave Island AnyTime"),
but i never had a bad experience with them. You can book your tickets at Crownpoint / Tobago airport.
Airfares will change until 2010, so you may need to inquire again closer to your vacation.
Greetings from Trinidad,
Andy

If I'm not mistaken you can get to Grenada on Liat without going through Trinidad. We did it two years ago on our way to St. Vincent.

Geoff,
Liat definitely flies to Grenada from Tobago - note that some flights stop off in Barbados before going on to Grenada so the trip duration can vary. You can check Liat's web site
www.liatairline.com/ for flights and times once you know your planned travel dates.

Hi Geoff,
As Andy says, Liat fly from Trinidad, but it looks like they fly fairly frequently (3x a day on a Friday - haven't checked any other days!). You can check our their schedule online at
www.col.com.
Lisa.
