Charlottevilla & Country Haven

Steve, we found Charlottevilla on your web site and a link to a site with more info about them. Says on your site $60 I believe. We don't think the link is to their own personal site as it appears to be a travel agency. Do you know if they have their own site?
We tried using google.com and found a bunch of other tour agency listing them except the price is higher - for bottom floor we found $85 more than a few times. Could you please tell us how current your info/rates are for them?

Also, has anyone heard of Country Haven in Speyside? They are another one we wrote to 7 days ago and haven't heard back yet.
Can anyone confirm if it's up on a hill or what beach it is near? Thanks.

Sorry, we are not an accommodation agency and as we mention clearly in several areas, prices are only intended as a guideline. We try to keep prices as up to date as possible, but are reliant upon the establishments and visitors notifying us when prices quoted are different to our listings.

If you look at our listings, you will also see that lot's of links are to agencies and not necessarily to a website run by the property themselves. These are often small properties run by local people - many of whom wouldn't even know how to switch a computer on. Even when they can, a proper website is generally more than they can afford. Further up the market, many owners have no wish to be involved in bookings, so let agents handle all details. In all cases we try to provide contact details and web links to the owners site, if they have one. If not, we list their preferred agent - assuming we can contact them and they express a preference. Failing that, we simply show any link that might tell visitors more about the property and provide the contact to make further enquiries.

I've only tracked down one visitor comment on Country Haven - and this from a very reliable source (someone who owns a guesthouse elsewhere on the island):
basic but totally adequate and at $US 25 per night who cares.
