Hi !
Our flight to Tobago goes tommorrow morning

and we'll stay there for 3 weeks
Does anybody know of an internet cafe (or s.t. similary) that would allow us to connect
our digicam (USB) to upload our pictures ?
Many thanks in advance

Hi Frank
There are a number of Internet cafés and most of the larger hotels have some facilities for guests to send/receive email. However, whether any will allow you to connect your USB digicam is another thing. Broadband is only now becoming available in Tobago and I don't know which Internet cafés have installed the facility.
Use the Search facility at the top of this page and search for "Internet Cafe". You will find lots of posts on the subject mentioning places. It all depends upon where you are staying. Also, see our
Telecommunications article in our main
myTobago site.
I would be interested to know how you got on, so please let us know if you managed to upload your photos while on Tobago. I'm sure it will be information of use to other readers and a good way of overcoming the problem of your memory cards being full.
Have a great trip.

We plan to travel the whole island and I'll definitly try to gather some information on this topic.
We found so many facts of interest and use on your page/forum, maybe we can pay back

So, that will be your project for the holiday, just to get you out of the sun for a while: Evaluate the Internet cafes and determine whether any allow visitors to connect and upload photos from their digital cameras.
Have a great trip, Frank

Hi Frank
If you have no luck anywhere you may give us a call and arrange to pop into our office (see the website for contact details) to upload your pics on our PC - just tt$10 per hour should cover it.
