As we couldn't decide between two apartments we decided to split our stay between the two. The last few days we stayed in the Wave Song apartment at Seascape.

Although it was a lovely, newly built studio apartment, we were slightly disappointed after coming from a much larger place at half the price. The nice thing about Seascape is the amazing sea view but, as we had another place in Castara to compare it to, we realised it is considerably overpriced. In the first house we didn't have a sea view but it was just as clean and well kept but had lots of added bonuses, which Sea Scape didn't have. Furthermore, Sea Scape was tiny compared to other places we saw. It is very new however so does look lovely inside. I liked the fact that you can open all the wooden doors and have a view of the whole bay.

I was really surprised at the amount of mosquitoes in the apartment, as it is high up and by the sea. I got bitten more there in an hour than I did in over a week in a house in the village. I would suggest some kind of electric mosquito repellant. There was one there but it was broken and I am not sure why it had not been replaced. This really affected our stay because we had to cover ourselves in repellant as soon as we walked in the door.

We were kindly provided with a UK adaptor, when we asked but I would like to suggest the use of a telephone for guests that stay there. We had one in our other house in Castara and it helped us book a car and try to change our flight.

We were advised that it was not really big enough for a couple with a child and I understand that now but there are lots of other places in Castara that are clean and comfortable but cheaper and, I believe, much better value for money. It is very difficult to know what to book without seeing various places beforehand but I would only recommend SeaScape for someone who doesn't mind paying a lot just to get a sea view.
