We were so disappointed with this place, but also castera it self. we were put in a lower floor apartment. it was dark
and dingy and smelled musty. there was a suitcase in the bedroom which had some clothes and other bits and bobs and looked as though it had been there for years. we asked to be moved to the adjoining apartment as people were moving out. this was marginally better. after one night's stay two families moved into the upper floor apartments with kids running up and down the wooden veranda and the parents playing loud music into the early hours. but the worse thing was looking up in our bedroom at the underside of the wooden floor in their bedroom, every noise could be heard! castera beach has great potential and looks good in photo's, but is scruffy, with token plastic chairs and loungers here and there and most broken. we were booked in for six days, but fled after three.
