Airbridge Trinidad - Tobago with Caribbean Airlines

As reported earlier, the reliability of the airbridge services has significantly increased since Caribbean Airlines
took over from Tobago Express / BWIA.
Nevertheless, there is still a shortage in aircrafts, which becomes obvious everytime we have a "long weekend" and
the demand for flights goes up. At the same time, Caribbean Airlines seem to use some of the "DASH-8" for flights
"up the islands" and only the remaining 2 (or sometimes even only 1) for the airbridge.
Visitors, be advised, if you want to visit Trinidad, book your flights early enough to make sure you will get through.
Flights on and around long weekends / public holidays tend to be sold out out weeks in advance.

But if you got a confirmed ticket, make sure you check in (1 hour prior to scheduled departure) and procede to the boarding gate ON TIME. I have seen departures 15 to 20 minutes EARLY on a regular basis since Caribbean Airlines
operates the airbridge.

Cheers,

Andy
