I inquired about the Golden Thistle on behalf of my sister-in-law and her two teenage children, who stayed there from August 21 - 23. I had stayed there the previous year (August, 3 nights).
The hotel is clean, friendly, close to shops, the beach (Store Bay) and the airport. Very conveniently located. The staff is courteous and helpful, especially Jaemie. My sister-in-law was very impressed with the nutritious, tasty and filling breakfast, served in a very relaxing and picturesque semi-outdoor dining room.
I would recommend this hotel for people who are looking for safe, clean and basic lodging near to one of the best beaches in Tobago.
