Baby milk & food

Hello,
We will be holidaying soon in Tobago with an 8 month old baby. Can anyone tell me if it is easy to buy ready made baby milk on the island, such as Aptimil stage 3 milk? I also wonder if baby food is available in supermarkets?
Thanks

Hi Anna,

Yes, and yes!! The larger supermarkets (Pennysavers in Canaan and Carnbee, and also Gourmet Foods at Morshead Plaza) have a good selection of both. You might not recognise ALL the brands, but they do have Gerber and Cow & Gate and other brands you'd probably recognise, even if they wouldn't be your first choice back home. They also have all sizes of Pampers and Huggies and Johnsons Baby Wipes - don't worry - it's here!!

With best wishes,
Lisa.

Hi Anna,

Do you mean the 'ready-to-feed' baby milk in liquid form? If so, then it is rather scarce here and the supplies can be erratic, however if you mean the powdered baby milks then as Lisa says, there are a number of varieties easily available at the supermarkets, along with the Gerber baby foods. You will not find Aptimil here, so if your baby is a bit fussy about which milk they will drink, you might need to bring a supply.
