Delta will resume its seasonal nonstop service between Atlanta and Tobago on Dec. 19.

The Saturday flight will run through April 24 and will complement Delta's existing service from both New York and Atlanta to Port of Spain, Trinidad.

The Tobago service allows passengers to bypass the previously required stopover, and possible overnight, in Trinidad.

Roger,

Thanks for that info. Looks like it is still a seasonal operation even with the T&T subsidies.

I hope they offer summer service earlier this (next) year. First flight into Tobago last summer wasn't until July 11. I had to go in through POS but was able to complete the whole journey in one long day. It got hectic when one of my bags was missing at Piarco and we just barely made the Tobago flight. Took over a week and a big hassle at Crown Point for Delta to get my bag to me. (Are you listening Delta?)

I subscribed to the Travel Weekly.

Thanks, Hugh 8)

It may be even beneficial to our friends across the pond to transfer in ATL to Tobago  Carbon Tax :!:
I doubt the service will be expanded to the summer though unless the loads are high.
