Hi Asa
I imagine that you will notice a bit of a difference in temperature between Sweden and Tobago in November.
The Half Moon Blue Hotel was called the Old Donkey Cart until earlier this year. Use the Search facility at the top of the page and search for the original name - I'm sure I remember two or three posts about this hotel - generally favourable, as far as I can recollect.
As a general rule, the beaches on the Atlantic Coast tend to be a little more windy than those on the Caribbean coast - but that is a general rule and obviously there are windy and calm beaches on both coasts. The Half Moon Blue is within 5 minutes walk of lovely sheltered Bacolet Bay which is a lovely beach with good swimming and is very sheltered (see our review of the Blue Haven Hotel on the main site for full details and pictures of this beach).
Have a great trip and let us know how you get on.

Hi again Steve,
Thank you for your fast answer!!!
I have read the about Half moon blue hotel, but I did'nt get so much information as i was hoping....
I wonder if you can recommed any other accomondation on Tobago?? We want a smaller genuine hotel, near/on the beach. We want it to be special, we are staying for 5 nights.
I would be happy if you can recommend something for us.
Do you think it's better to stay at the caribbien side?? I just want it to be perfect....
I hope you get this email!!
Hope hearing from you soon!!!!!!!!
Kind Regards
Åsa

I believe the Half Moon Blue is a pleasant little hotel and I’m sure you will be very happy with it.
There are many, many hotels and guesthouses that I can recommend on Tobago, but it depends entirely upon what your personal preferences are and your budget. The Atlantic side is quieter than the Caribbean side, but other than that, it is entirely a matter of personal preference. What is right for one person can be totally wrong for another. Whichever you choose, I am sure you will love your stay in Tobago.
I can only suggest that you read as much as possible of our main site and accommodation listings and review. Nothing beats research – although you may end up more confused than when you started. In summary, I see no real reason to change your booking from Half Moon Blue.
